Daniel H. Cooke is an advisor and former full-time associate of COOKE, LLC. Dan is an attorney at Jaffe Rait Heuer & Weiss, P.C. in Metro Detroit, Michigan. Dan is a member of the Mergers & Acquisitions, Emerging & Growth Business, and Intellectual Property practice groups. Dan also works closely with the Finance, Securities & Corporate Governance, and Tax-Exempt groups. Dan concentrates his practice on advising companies at all stages, from startups to public companies, as well as venture capital firms, investors, and non-profit organizations. His practice covers all aspects of business formation, governance, and operations, including mergers and acquisitions, contract review and negotiation, private debt and equity financings, trademark registration and protection, and general corporate matters.
Prior to joining COOKE, LLC and Jaffe, Dan worked at Michigan State University’s Center for International Business Education and Research (MSU-CIBER) and Asociación Poleas Global in Barcelona, Spain. During law school, Daniel worked several transactional and social-enterprise focused positions as a law clerk and student attorney, including recognition for exemplary service with Wayne Law’s Business & Community Law Clinic.
